The After-School Care Monitor will assist the After School Care Program Director and Coordinator with the implementation of a quality program that enriches the students spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
The After-School Care Monitor will maintain a safe and educational learning environment for young children by successfully implementing the program daily activities.
Daily expectations include: leading children in classroom activities, supervising snack and outdoor play, assisting children with day to day needs, maintaining a clean environment and leading group activities.
Oversees and supervises all program participants (K-8th), which includes/not limited to the following responsibilities:
Attendance --Accountable for accurate group enrollment figures
Behavioral Management --Manage, control and discipline assigned program participants
Activity Planning --Responsible for daily communication to immediate supervisors in regards to all program participants --Plan weekly/daily activities for assigned program participants
First Aid --Administer general, basic first-aid, if necessary
