REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates and fosters a positive environment at all times
  • Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to at all times, and waste is eliminated
  • Ensure all food is delivered to tables accurately, and in a timely manner
  • Promptly notifies managers/chefs when in need of assistance/running lengthier than expected ticket times
  • Ensure food is prepared accurately (knows recipes) and portions/plating presentation meets all standards
  • Ensure all food orders has tickets generated
  • Handles guest complaints quickly and with a guest-centric attitude
  • Confidence to direct the work of culinary team in a collaborative and productive way
  • Gently/firmly coaches all team members to follow all food production standards and reaches out to chefs/managers to address all delinquent staff (vs. scolding them directly)
  • Knows when to prioritize expedited orders, and when to notify managers when certain staff members exhibit patterns of behavior that hurt productivity, food cost, etc.
  • Expedite and time orders
  • Full knowledge of all menu items to answer all Staff questions. Allergies, dietary restrictions, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining, cleaning/sanitizing and clearing tables during dining experience
  • Clear and concise communication with the team FOH, BOH and MOD
  • Handling and communicating Staff needs or requests
