PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Truck washer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are in first-rate condition for operation. You will be responsible for exterior and interior cleaning, performing routine inspections, and reporting to Mechanics on any wear and tear issues. This roll offers assistance with other maintenance tasks. This position is vital to upholding our company's public image, reputation, and professionalism standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Thoroughly wash and clean the exterior of the fleet vehicles using appropriate cleaning materials and equipment ex. truck wash.
- Regularly inspect and report any maintenance issues, wear and tear or damage found on trucks, such as worn/cracked seats, hanging wires, broken lights, mirrors, or signs, so they can be promptly addressed.
- Ensure that all cleaning and washing procedures are carried out in compliance with environmental regulations and safety guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inspections, and any repairs required for each truck, using company-provided checklists or digital tools.
- Coordinate with other team members and supervisors to efficiently manage the truck washing schedule, prioritizing urgent needs.
- Operate various machines, equipment, and tools, such as forklifts, air drills, pumps, etc. (training can be provided)
- Perform cleaning, preparation, and painting.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Outdoors, primarily in the yard, exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Occasional office work.
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 75 pounds during the workday.
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
- This position requires full range of bending at the waist and full use of all extremities and back muscles.
- Stamina and flexibility to maintain a steady work pace.
WORK HOURS
- Start time is 8 am, Mon to Friday, due to nature of this position could require earlier start time and/or weekends as needed to meet job responsibilities.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime based on Operational needs.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication with customers, supervisor, coworker, and others.
- Read, write, and comprehend in English.
- Must be able to communicate using tablets, phones or other devices as required.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Hawaii driver's license
- Clean Driver History Record
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Requires maintaining a reliable work schedule.
- Ability to learn Spotter signals and training and demonstrate proper use in the field.
