PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESTo be successful as a sales account executive you should be a self-starter, have an outgoing
personality and be able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, should be able to build rapport with
customers and generate leads, identify sales opportunities, negotiate, and close deals while
meeting sales targets. Responsibilities include generating leads, making sales calls, presenting
services and products, answering questions, conflict resolution, estimating pricing, continual
updates in customer database.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Generating leads.
- Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, and negotiations.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts and renewal contracts.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Managing the sales process through specific software.
- Maintaining (updating) client records.
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
- Handling customer questions, inquiries, and resolving complaints and site issues.
- Participate and engage in operations and sales team meetings
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONSIn addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform
a combination of the following supportive functions.
- Handling special projects as assigned by management.
- Attending job fairs and trade shows are requested.
- Performing all other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONSThe work environment characteristics described herein are representative of what an employee
encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 10 pounds most of the workday.
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
- On occasion, requires bending at waist and full use of extremities and back muscles.
WORK HOURS
- Start time is 7 am, Regular job hours Mon to Friday, 8-10 hours daily, due to nature of this position could require earlier start time and/or weekends as needed to meet job responsibilities.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime based on Operational needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. May require working under minimal supervision.
- Requires maintaining a reliable work schedule.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication with customers, supervisor, coworker, and others.
- Read, write, and comprehend in English.
- Must be able to communicate using tablets, phones or other devices as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSSkills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the island of Oahu.
- Experience in sales.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast- paced environment.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Degree in Business or related field a plus.
- 2-yr customer service experience.
- Negotiation and problem-solving
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Hawaii driver's license
- Clean Driver History Record
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Requires maintaining a reliable work schedule.
- Ability to learn Spotter signals and training and demonstrate proper use in the field.
