CDL Driver - Car Hauler

To drive a tractor & trailer to transport vehicles, freight, and miscellaneous goods to various customer sites on Oahu.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintains and submits a daily timesheet, vehicle condition report (pre & post inspections), and delivery tags.
• Performs daily pre and post-trip inspections.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces, using mirrors.
• Able to follow safe operating practices, including lock-out/ tag-out procedures to ensure truck is inoperative when working in the truck body.
• Able to follow safe operating practices.
• Interact professionally with customers and/or the general public along the route to answer questions or respond to requests.

Experience:

• Knowledge of the island of Oahu.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Valid Hazmat endorsement - Required
• Valid TWIC
• In the most recent 36-month period, as verified by a current MVR/driver History Report:
• No more than one moving violation or accident.
• No suspensions or revocations due to a moving violation or accident
• No DUI (driving under the influence) convictions.
