About the role

The Sales & Marketing Intern will assist in increasing the prospective client pipeline for Vibe Creative Marketing. They will assist in sales and marketing tasks for the team, as well as other tasks as needed. We are looking for candidates with a cooperative and positive attitude, willingness to participate and assist with any sort of project, strong people skills, as well as a basic understanding of digital marketing. Other sales or marketing experience is welcomed but not necessary.

 

This is a paid ($15/hr) part-time position between 10-15 hours per week. This is not a remote position. Candidates must be located on Oahu.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting – researching and identifying prospective clients
  • Communications – corresponding with prospective clients, answering inquiries, scheduling calls and presentations, and completing thorough follow ups
  • Marketing – Brainstorming and creating messaging, collateral, and strategies to increase calls with prospective clients
  • Culture & Operations – Willingness and ability to learn what services Vibe Creative Marketing offers, our company’s differentiators, and the types of clients that would be a good fit for our agency
Candidate requirements
  • Comfortable and confident with new people and situations
  • Resilient and resourceful
  • Graphic design, sales, or digital marketing experience preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of all social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with a cooperative, positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask 
  • No task is too big or too small for this candidate!
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per company vaccination policy
Application Process

Here’s what you can expect as an applicant of this position:

  1. Assignment: We will email any candidates we feel may be a good fit for the position with an assignment. We ask that interested candidates return the assignment within 7 days. The assignment should take between 3-4 hours. 
  2. Phone Interview: A member of Team Vibe will call candidates to conduct a 20-30 minute phone interview. During this call we’ll run through a role-playing sales call scenario. We’d also love to get to know you a bit better and learn why you’re interested in Vibe. We also welcome any questions you may have about the role or our company. 
  3. Video Interview: We will set up a group interview via Google Meets with relevant Vibe team members. We’ll throw a lot of questions your way in a random order. Feel free to fire random questions back our way, too!
